Seamless Workroom fillable PDFs and Excel spreadsheets will work on a PC, Surface tablet, iPad, and Mac Book Pro.

You will need Adobe Reader DC or OneDrive for all fillable PDFs on Mac Book Pro, Surface tablet, and PC. Only OneDrive will work with the iPad. Adobe Reader DC is a free download from www.adobe.com. OneDrive is a free download from MicroSoft and the App Store.

For the workbooks you will need Office Excel. Office Excel will work for all devices and is a free download on iPad from the App Store, but must be purchased for use on a PC or Mac Book Pro.

Please note, if you download a workbook to OneDrive on your iPad it will automatically show up on your other devices with OneDrive, so don’t waste a download on the other device.

Likewise, if you download any fillable PDF to OneDrive on a PC it will automatically show up on your Surface tablet, so don’t waste a download on the other device.

After you make a purchase on the Seamless Workroom website, you will be able to download your file(s) from your order confirmation page, via an email receipt, or by logging into your Seamless Workroom account and going to your Downloads section. Please read carefully the instructions for your device below.

Instructions for using Seamless Workroom with your iPad
You will need OneDrive on your iPad which is available for free in the App Store. Once you have the document in OneDrive you can also access it on your desktop/laptop through the document cloud.

BEFORE you fill in the worksheet you must complete the following steps to make a copy of the original worksheet. In your OneDrive account make a folder which will house all the original worksheets.

  1. When the file opens do not fill anything in. Tap up arrow with block at the top right hand side. Select OneDrive from the list. Choose folder to save worksheet to in OneDrive. Select upload to OneDrive.
  2. The file is now saved on the cloud in your OneDrive account.
  3. To record information on any fillable form you simply tap the highlighted block and fill it in.
  4. Always save as and rename your worksheet with your client’s information once it is completely filled out.

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE 2 COPIES OF EACH WORKSHEET. ONE AS AN ORIGINAL AND ONE YOU CAN USE FOR A CLIENT.

The Workbooks Require Office Excel (free download for iPad)

  1. Open the file you wish to download. If it does not open directly in Excel, tap the page and choose Open in Excel at the top right hand corner. At the top in a yellow bar it will say Save a Copy in the upper right hand corner. Click Save. The file will be saved in your OneDrive and will be available on your iPad or your desktop/laptop.
  2. Input the information in all the grey fields. When finished you can save the completed workbook to your client’s folder and rename the file.

Instructions for using Seamless with your Mac Book Pro
The Seamless downloads will only work on Mac if you have Adobe Reader DC installed. Please install first before proceeding.

After Installing Adobe Reader, open Safari. Then, click on Safari in the upper left corner; then go to Preferences; then go to Security. A drop down box will open. Click on Plug In Settings at the bottom. Another box will open. Check the box by Adobe Reader to allow the Mac to use Reader. Click done. Close all windows. Adobe Reader DC will then be in Applications in Finder. To easily access your PDFs, open the Reader DC App first.

You will receive an email with the Seamless PDF downloads that you purchased. You must be logged into your Seamless Workroom account to download.

  1. Go to the Download section in your Seamless Workroom account.
  2. Right click on your mouse or two finger click on the touch pad on the PDF Download File Name. This will download the file to Finder.
  3. Go to Finder. Click on Downloads in Finder.
  4. Select the PDF file name with a two finger click or mouse right click. A drop down box will open. Select OPEN WITH. Select Adobe Reader DC and your PDF will open.
  5. After filling in your PDF, select File at the left top corner to Save As.

The Workbooks will only work when Microsoft Office Excel is installed on your Mac Book Pro. The Office Suite is a separate purchase for Mac.

Instructions for using Seamless Workroom with your PC
First download the Adobe Reader DC app to your laptop. You must have this app to use the fillable feature of the form.

Download the Seamless Workroom files to your Downloads.

  1. Open the app.
  2. Click on My Computer on the left.
  3. Select the file from your Downloads and click open.
  4. The file will open in the app.

After you make a purchase on the Seamless Workroom website, you will be able to download your file(s) from your order confirmation page, via an email receipt, or by logging into your Seamless Workroom account and going to your Downloads section. Instructions for using Seamless Workroom with your Surface Tablet
Seamless Workroom works on your Microsoft Surface tablet.
First download the Adobe Reader DC app to your tablet. You must have this app to use the fillable feature of the forms.

After purchasing your download, you will receive an email with your purchase. Click on the item to open it. When it opens save it to your tablet, either in Downloads or to OneDrive.

There are two ways to access the PDFs.

Go to your Downloads and click on the PDF. It will open in Adobe Reader DC.

OR

  1. Click on the Adobe Reader DC app to open it.
  2. Click on My Computer on the left. A window from File Explorer will open.
  3. Select the fillable form you want to work with from the File list; click Open. The form will open on your tablet in the Adobe Reader DC App.

Fill in the information on the form. When you are done, click on the File menu (three horizontal lines) at the top left hand corner. Click on App Commands. A command bar will open at the bottom. Select Save As. The File Screen will open. Type in a File Name and click Save. Be sure to save in the appropriate file for that client.

You may also select Print from the App Commands to print out your document.

Click on Save As so that your original download is always clear.

Always keep an original of all workbooks and measuring sheets on OneDrive or your desktop. Before your fill anything out, Save As a blank copy with the client’s information in the title. Then, go back and fill in their information. This way, you will always have a clear PDF or workbook to use with your next client.

The exception to this is the iPad. Please see “How do I access my downloadable files on my iPad?” above.
